The title of the new CD will be The Death of the Artists and will represent a starting point of discussion for all that happened to the band since the last cd "Instant Madness".

2009.09.07 - Highlord sign for Scarlet Records!
It is with much pleasure we finally announce Scarlet Records accepted us on its band roster we hope this will be the beginning of a great musical experience, here beneath the official press release:
The Death Of The Artists’ is the confirmed title for Higlord’s sixth brand-new album, out next fall on Scarlet Records. Highlord is one of Italy’s finest and most respected melodic metal bands, which provides powerful guitars, fast drum beats and great melodies since 1996. Following the country’s melodic tradition of bands such as Labyrynth, Vision Divine, Eldritch, DGM, Highlord delivered 9 new tracks ready to blow your mind! The japanese version of the album will also include 2 bonus tracks, a cover version of Billy Idol’s ‘rebel Yell’ and, as it is now usual for a band which has always attracted large followings in the Far East, a new version of ‘Zankokuna Tenshi No Teeze’, song originally included in the renowned Anime-movie ‘Evangelion.

Hi Folks!!!
As you may have noticed we uploaded 3 sample-song from our new album "The Death of the Artists".
They are meant only as a "preview" and of course they cannot espress the full range of emotions and style covered by the 10 full songs featured in the album since this will require a full listen of our cd.
We hope we will be able to find a label soon in order to release the album and make it possible for all of our friends to enjoy (hopefully) our last effort!!

2009.05.22 - In studio right now!!!
The band has been playing for ten years so far, and has recorded three full length cds for Northwind Records (among whom we remember the power metal masterpieces “… When the Aurora Falls” and “Breath of Eternity”), one for Arise Records (the acclaimed “Medusa’s Coil”) and one self produced, cd “Instant Madness”. Such cds have been released in Europe and licensed in Japan, Mexico and other countries.
Although Highlord are currently dealing with some label for the release of their upcoming cd, the band is glad to let You know that they will be happy to consider any proposal in that sense.
